Course Description

This free online course on land development and weathering will begin by introducing you to the concept of geomorphology, as well as the theory of uniformitarianism as it relates to geomorphology. You will learn about the historical development of landform processes, as well as the different classifications of landform processes. You will then learn about the different structures of rocks along with how they are formed.

This course will also introduce you to how energy flows in a geomorphic system. Then, this course will teach you about the Davis geomorphic cycle and how it can be applied in landform development.
