Course Description

People are buying more stuff online than ever before. We all prefer the ease of having our purchases delivered to our homes. Therefore, we frequently use delivery services for various items ranging from groceries to electronic devices. As a result, we've built this course to teach you the fundamental vocabulary needed to understand and talk about mailing and delivery. We begin by going over the vocabulary words associated with the postal service and the options available when using a delivery service. You'll also discover how to send parcels to friends and relatives.

After you've mastered these new vocabulary items, you'll move on to two grammar sections. In this first lesson, you'll learn all about the passive voice! Learn to recognize passive voice usage and identify when and why it is appropriate. Learn the negative and interrogative forms of the passive voice, as well as the passive present and passive past tenses. Learn when and why 'by-phrases' are required in passive voice statements. In the following section, we'll examine conjunctions in depth. Learn when and why to utilize a coordinating conjunction. Learn to use subordinating conjunctions to link dependent and independent clauses for emphasis, comparison, and explanation.

The final section is structured to allow you to apply everything you've learned about grammar and vocabulary. Reading, listening, and speaking exercises includes mailing, delivering packages, the passive voice, and coordinating and subordinating conjunctions you have learned.
