Learn Spanish: Household Objects and Prepositions of Place

Course Description

We have designed this beginner Spanish course to help you learn this fun and exciting language at the introductory level. These Spanish lessons cover basic pronunciation and grammar and provide vocabulary required to give you the confidence to develop your language skills. We use audio and video clips to enhance your learning experience and help you perfect your Spanish accent.

The Spanish classes begin by explaining vowel combinations such as diphthongs, triphthongs and hiatus. We also teach you to identify the tonic syllable in words so you can determine which part of the word to stress and where to add an accent mark if necessary. The course then presents a brief grammar lesson. We demonstrate how to use ‘hay’ (‘there is’/’there are’) and show you how to ask and answer questions about quantities using ‘¿cuantos/as?’ (‘how many?’). The course then explains how to use prepositions of place (‘at’, ‘in’ and so on).

Finally, these Spanish lessons provide useful terminology relating to types of homes, household objects and rooms to help you discuss locations like bathrooms and living rooms and everyday household objects like appliances and furniture. Learning a new language can broaden the mind and open professional and personal doors for you. Sign up to learn basic Spanish and boost your confidence in your ability to speak this global language.
