Course Description

We all have the ability to connect with other people. Even though costumes, rules, and traditions vary from one culture to another, forming relationships is a part of our very nature. Therefore, this course is designed to teach you the basic vocabulary you need to understand dating and relationships in Spanish. The course starts by teaching you different verbs to help you have a conversation about dating and pursuing romantic relationships. You will then learn how to identify different types of relationships and be able to explain the kind of relationship you are in.

The first grammar section for this course focuses on personal pronouns. Review the difference between direct and indirect object pronouns, understand the use of reflexive pronouns, and master sentence structures by learning where to place the pronoun when there is an adjective or a verb present in the sentence. The second grammar topic focuses on the present perfect continuous. Learn how to use the present perfect continuous to discuss continuous actions and recent actions that have results in the present. You will then compare the difference between the present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous tense to indicate continuous action.

The final section of this course is designed to help you integrate what you have learned in both the vocabulary and the grammar sections into practical applications. Sharpen your reading, listening and speaking skills and don’t forget to download the writing practice to help you improve your Spanish skills. Don’t hesitate, take this course today!
